Terms of service
1. Order Process & Payments
A retainer/deposit is required for all custom orders. This secures your date and is non-refundable.
Final payment is due no later than 5 days before pickup/delivery. No payment = no order.
Orders placed less than 7 days in advance must be paid in full at the time of ordering.
2. Cancellations & Refunds
Cancellations must be made at least 7 days before your pickup date for store credit only. No refunds.
Orders canceled within less than 7 days of the event will not be refunded or credited.
We do not offer returns or refunds once an order has been picked up or delivered. Please inspect your order upon receipt.
3. Changes to Orders
Changes to design, flavor, or size must be made at least 10 days before-pickup/delivery.
Any last-minute changes may not be accommodated and may incur additional charges.
4. Design Expectations
Final products may differ slightly from inspiration photos due to artistic style or ingredient availability.
We are not responsible for changes in color/tone due to lighting, monitor display, or natural dye variation.
5. Pickup & Delivery
Orders must be picked up at your scheduled time.
A late pickup fee of $10 per 15 minutes applies after a 10-minute grace period.
We are not responsible for items damaged after pickup or delivery.
6. Allergies & Liability
We are not an allergen-free bakery. Items may contain or come in contact with nuts, dairy, gluten, eggs, soy, etc.
By placing an order, you acknowledge the risk of allergen exposure.
7. Event Exclusivity
For events: Comforting Delights must be the sole dessert provider unless otherwise agreed upon in writing.
If outside desserts are served, we reserve the right to cancel our services with no refund.
8. Photos & Promotion
We reserve the right to photograph your order for marketing and social media use.
If you’d prefer not to have your order shared, please let us know in writing.
9. Returns & Refunds
We do not accept returns on baked goods.
If there’s a quality issue with your order, please contact us within 2 hours.
If we find an error on our end, store credit(the use of store credit excludes holidays-or specials) replacement may be issued at our discretion.
10. Abuse & Refusal of Service
We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone for rude, threatening, or inappropriate behavior.
11. Arbitration Clause
If there’s a dispute we can’t resolve together, we agree to use binding arbitration rather than going to court. This means an independent arbitrator will decide the outcome, and their decision will be final.
